Attention, 海湾州立公园 visitors! 的 海湾州立公园 码头 is currently closed. We have begun the long-awaited renovations that are necessary to repair the damage caused by Hurricane Sally in 2020. 在改造过程中, we'll be rebuilding the 200-foot section that collapsed during Hurricane Sally. 的 closing includes the pier, 停车场, 浴室, 和 the beach accesses (located at the pier) until work is completed.

的re is something for everyone inside 海湾州立公园. 的 beach pavilion provides picnic tables as an escape from the beach, the nature center is a great place for the kids to learn, the 游泳 pool provides refreshment for our guests 和 the Lake Shelby day use area offers kayaking 和 canoeing. For a change of pace while visiting check out the 钓鱼 和 education pier, miles of biking on the Backcountry trail, beautiful flowers in the butterfly garden, 和 additional education at the  learning campus, interpretive center in the near future.

海湾州立公园 has a multitude of activities to participate in that includes: Hiking. biking, 钓鱼, exploring, geocaching, paddling just to name of few. We even provide beach vendors for things like parasailing 和 kayaking.

重建 小屋 at 海湾州立公园, a Hilton Hotel, is complete, 和 new hostel-style accommodations are available nearby as well. 的 湖边小屋 和 鹰别墅 are also available for overnight stays. Longleaf pines 和 the local palmetto forest surround our four “woods cabins”. Remaining “lakeside cabins” along Lake Shelby offer 游泳, 钓鱼, 和 sunrise walks right outside your front door. And with recent trail enhancements, waking up to jog or bike ride is easier than ever.

的 park’s 20 cabins provide guests with beautiful views of Lake Shelby or the beautiful longleaf pines 和 the palmetto forest of coastal Alabama.

Guests choose to stay at 鹰别墅 because of all the 钓鱼, 游泳, 划船, 和 other activities found along the shores of Lake Shelby. This 900-acre freshwater lake is one of the closest to saltwater along the Gulf of Mexico.

From canvas tents to full hook-up RV sites, camping comes naturally to our guests. We offer a 496-site improved campground including 11 modern bathhouses, pull-thru网站, 学校的网站, 海滨露营, 和 ADA accessible sites.
